I remembered you asking me this the other day, it's handy to know where you can find great clothes without spending a fortune.

I love the Dorothy Perkins jeans. They do the under the bump ones which are perfect for before the bump gets too big. I am finding shopping for maternity clothes quite hard at the moment, as my bump is no where near fitting over the bump clothes, and if I buy trousers in the next size up, they just look massive elsewhere. I am now sitting here with my trousers undone instead!

So am I! I quite often just wear tracky bottoms round the house and put other clothes on if I need to go out!

Hi again,
Just wanted to say I've had to give in and get some maturnity jeans as poor Biggles is getting squashed in mine!
One of the bigger next stores near us stocks maternity ( I don't think they all do, but if you call into your local one they should be able to tell you the nearest one that does, and I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending stuff back to the directory if it didn't fit), and got some jeans and combats which fit me really well. I know some that I've tried on are designed for much furthur on in pregnancy so I htought I'd let you know about this.
Leeds girls-Its the one near Ikea at Birstall.

Its still a tad big, but I got some jeans with the"Active waist" thingy panels and they're alot more comfy, although I still need t belt at the moment, but its definately better than any other I've seen. My over the bump jeans I still need to grow into, but that'll only be a couple of weeks i think.
Claire suggested bump bands, which are effectively like a big belt-new look sell them for 3, so its kind of worth gettin gone even if you never use it-they come in small-medium, or medium-large. They look abit like a boob tube, and cover gaps where your trousers don't fasten without rolling down.

I found some good trousers yesterday in Peacocks. They are over the bump ones, but have adjustable elastic at the waist so are not stuplidly big. My only problem is they are long length so look silly round the feet, but the legs fit perfectly, and only 10 so can deal with length!!
