W/C 28th April!!
What are we all doing this week? Any plans?
I know that as long as the weather keeps nice (well dry!) I am going to be attacking the garden with full force! We have booked Tobey's christening and are having friends and family to the house afterwards. Im buying some garden toys (as most of our friends have young children under the age of 5), anyone have any suggestions of the best things to get? We already have a child swing (well for babies/toddlers) but thats it so far! I have a lot of work to do though. Dean is doing the grass and Im doing the hard work! I need to sand and repaint the bench (and buy a cushion for it), cut back the bush and large foliage (sp), Im digging up all the wood chip and pebbles and planting flowers (Id rather kids pulled at flowers than put wood or stones in their mouths!) We are buying a grill (Tai doesnt like cooking on a BBQ) and buying a nice patio set. And thats all I can remember off the top of my head. OH! and hanging baskets! lol.
What is everyone else up to?

Re: W/C 28th April!!
I've just finished nights, and I've got 2 weeks off now.
I need to tidy our garden too, we've re done the hanging baskets, and i bought some plants this afternoon, although its started raining so I can't out them in.
Toy wise not sure, maybe a rocking horse thingy ( can't remember what they're called!)

Re: W/C 28th April!!
I popped into town to look for plants and after seeing the price of shears (almost £20) I think we will wait till we go into colchester.
Im getting all ex cited about buying the garden toys. I love to think that friends can bring their children here and they wont get bored!

Re: W/C 28th April!!
They used to have a kids bouncey castle in woolworths fairly cheap. or what about a trampoline? My neice loves hers and although Tobey is still a little young you could bounce him on it a little and you could get some exercise yourself and shift that stone.
I havn't replied in here yet cos I can't think of anything interesting to write, give me a few hours to get seph to bed, dinner eaten and I'm sure I'll think of some stuff. I have thought of loads just as I type this, so I'll be back later. no time now.

Re: W/C 28th April!!
Ok well I've almost missed the boat on this one, but I am busy this week trying to lose weight for my hen do (And obviously the following wedding and honeymoon) And am getting ready for the hen do. I'm so excited, next week I'm going to buy a few new bits of clothes (Hopefully not too much as I'll still lose some more) and have got everyone a little pressie!! I've also got something for my sister who has organised the whole thing single handedly (Well a couple of bridesmaids have helped but she's had all the booking/money stress etc) But I can't give her her present till afterwards! Do we have a photo gallery? I'll post some pics.
