I am so bored and fed up already! I just want my baby to be here now and I feel like time is dragging!

Re: So bored!
Once you hit about 34 weeks it will fly Ally, I guess thats the only downside of finding out your preg early on whereas if you'd found out at 2/3 months it would seem to be going a lot quicker!Maybe too quick lol

I am feeling like that that at the moment, but just waiting for a proper bump and to feel movement. Once boring January is out the way, you will be that much closer and soon the weather will be getting better and then he will be here!! Have you got everything ready for him?

Been trying hard not to go out and buy everything at once so that I can spread out the jobs!
I have today built baby's cot and cried like a baby myself once I had finished it as it is so cute. It is only an Ikea special but it looks so huge for a wee tiny baby.
Last week I built the drawers and changing table; bought bottles, a hooded towel thingie, sanitary towels (for me), nose clearer-outter thing, baby nail clippets, breast pump and nursing bras. Don't really have anything else to buy now except for a steriliser.
I even have sorted out the kraamzorg for my post-natal care - this is basically a midwife to come visit after the birth but they do so much more than a midwife as they can cook, clean, do your shopping and help you settle in with the baby. This is paid by our health insurance for up to 10 days after the birth. Don't understand why the UK doesn't do something similar.

Re: So bored!
Know the feeling. I am 29weeks tomorrow and time really seems to be dragging by. Did the first time as well but it seems to be going so slowly it feels like edd is ages away and not just 11wks and 1 day.

Re: So bored!
The UK doesn't do something similar because we don't have any money! I think the government have their priorities ALL Wrong, but that's a different post!!
I know I am one of those annoying people but make the most of this time, I remember how frustrating it is, but honestly once she/he is here you will not get this oppotunity again. Why not make a list of all the things you want to do (Within reason) And see how much you can get done befor ebubs arrives?

Re: So bored!
ohhh had a better idea, why don't all the mums who would like time to themselves make you a list of what they'd like to do and you do it for them as a challange and something to entertain you and keep you busy in a fun way!! (That might sounds sad, but I think that'd be well fun!)
