Last night was about 11.30pm and Mikayla was still very unsettled so Mark and I decided to give her a shower.
I was laying on the bed and Mark was undressing her. She was undress Mark stood her up... she started saying bababababa...
then all of a sudden a very clear....

MUM

I was so excited been trying to get her to say it again but nothing

congrats hunni
i remember cams first time, he was sat on our bed first thing in the morning as i'd got up to bring him thru and put him on our bed with matt, i walked thru put the toaster and kettle on and went back and sat on the bed and all of a sudden he just went "mummy" i had to ask matt whether thats what he'd said or not then spent all week bouncing round coz i was so happy i was his first word lol

Know what you mean. I was just sitting on the floor playing with Naj while Dave made a cuppa when Naj started making some sounds then just started saying mumum. I was so excited and about 2 weeks later he managed to say dada as well. Dave looked proud as anything bless him.
