Morning sickness Empty Morning sickness

Post by Wicks Wed Jan 23, 2008 2:50 am

Did anyone suffer with morning sickness in the first trimester? I suffered quite badly, with firstly feeling sick all day, then it moved to being sick a few times a day instead - not sure whats worst! Luckily now I have been ok (touch wood!) for a few weeks now, except when I have milk, that tends to make me run for the toilet!

How have you all been?

I've got away very lightly, just feel sick if I've not eaten for a while, at whatever time of day. I always make myself gag when i brush my teeth/tongue (I did this pre-pregnant too), so I have to be more careful so I don't make myself sick, but youch wood, I've done alright!

I cant eat tortilla wraps, no matter what is in them - just the look of them makes me feel sick. I am sick if I have milk now. Plus I do find it hard to decide what I want to eat, it has to be right if you get what I mean!!

Hi, I'm 30+ 3 and still getting sickness - mainly in the evenings now. I was really bad, I lost 21lbs. The sickness started around 6-7 weeks, and I only started managing to put weight on at 22-23 weeks. I was sick everyday, up to 10-12 times. it's now only once or twice, and if I'm lucky I'll get a day off! I've now put on the weight I lost, MW said it's all on bump and breasts (gone up two cup sizes, and thinmk it's going to be 3 cup sizes soon!! but still the same around).

I had really bad morning sickness with my first. Caused me to have time off work too, only problem was work didn't take too kind to it and so cut my wage and only paid me the statutory sick pay!

With the others the more I had the better it got, although with the last one it did seems to last all day sometimes x
