Double Pushchairs Empty Double Pushchairs

Has anyone got a double pushchair, not the long ones I mean the wide ones.
I bought one a few weeks ago as my youngest is 16 months and the baby is due in 2 weeks. I'm getting slighly concerned about the fact that it may not fit through many doorways in shops etc and if that is the case how will i manage.

I only had tandem ones as I had the same worry as where I live getting round shops with a pram is a chore but my friend has a side by side and she manages fine. It depends on each shop I suppose, i once saw someone go into a store and ask them to open the fixed door to let her double pram in.
