Do you want to go back to work? Or would you rather stay at home? Are you undecided and want some advice from others who have been in the same position? Ask away here!

I went back to work. It was horrible i would rather stay at home and be with my kids but needs must. I am used to it now and I think Lucas is too. I still find it hard sometimes tho.

I keep telling Mark to win me the lottery so I can be a lady of leisure lol!

Iv just been offered a job. Its only 22.5 hours over 3 days and its not an early early start but Im dreading it! Did they not realsise that I didnt really want the job and that I want to stay home with Tobey?? lol.
As you say, needs must and Id rather spend a few hours away from him and be able to live more or less comfortably than not and struggle.

I need to go back financially, although ideally I'd go back part time, I'll need to go back full time.

The problem I found with going back full time is childcare. I wouldnt get it all funded via tax credits and would be £30 a week better off than if I was working part time. So I dont see the point in working full time just to pay for childcare!

The plan at the moment is for me to do at least one weekend day (probably alternate saturdays and sundays), then leave Biggles with Davids Mum (whihc I'm not keen on as she's 71, and can be a bit 'batty' at the best of times), then have childcare the other day, leaving me to work 3 long days. But as i said, we'll see once Biggles gets here xx

Isn't it just!
We need tomove house (can't do it this year, due to the current climate), but when we sell, and get a bigger mortgage, we'll need me to work for the finacial benefits xxx
