How did you tell???

How did you tell you partner that your pregnant, would love to hear the stories

I just blurted it out - Hun, I have something to tell you I'm pregnant. And handed him both tests.

We had stopped trying (as we were going on holiday), and got a puppy. I then fell that month, so I was 13+5 when we flew out on holiday. And our puppy turns one a few weeks after Wriggle's due date.

I did it over the phone. I asked if he was busy, he said yes so I said I speak to him when he got in - he got annoyed and said tell me - so I just blurted it out that I thought I was pregnant, he asked why, and I said there were two lines on the test. He got home and said "so your up the duff then"!!!

Mark was there when I did the test. I made him look so he told me xx

That's made me laugh - "there's two lines on the test"! Absolutely classic!

I actually did my test at 5:30 in the morning as I didn't sleep the night before knowing that I was going to test in the morning. I didn't even tell Ian that I suspected that I was pregnant. Did the test and gawped at it for a few minutes to allow it to sink in before capping the test and then climbing back into bed. I nudged Ian awake and said "Look at this" and he squinted at the test and went "You're pregnant" and then rolled back over to sleep. Two minutes later he sat bolt upright and screamed "You're pregnant!". It was very funny to watch his reaction - god love him! We had a bit of a cuddle (special Mummy & Daddy cuddles *wink, wink*) and then went back to sleep.
