Will you/did you wash baby clothes which are new............

Before the baby wears them. Just wondered thats all.
I think I will, certainly for vests, baby grows etc, but just wondered if anyone else did this, or am I going overboard again!

I did wash the ones I bought before I had a baby, but when we got new clothes that peoples bought us, I did not wash, I dont know why though!!!

I washed stuff that would be in direct contact with her skin, eg vests and sleepsuits. Didin't wash it all though!

I did with some but not with all. Don't know why I only did some though...just me being strange I guess.

I washed everything whether it was brand new, in packets, handed down from a friend/relative basically everything. Just for my own peace of mind, knowing that the items were clean and freshly washed.

I think I will. It will probably be something to stop me going crazy once I start the maternity leave!

I wash everything before it is worn and I've also washed soft toys that Benjamin can put in his mouth (these are usually 'loose' on the shelves in shops).

Some people find this a bit OTT but it makes me feel happier - just go with what you prefer doing!
